About Me
I have been a professional programmer since 1979. From 1984 until 2007 I worked for the University of Texas at Austin as a database administrator and web programmer. Since then I have worked as a MySQL DBA at Hoover's, Inc., Excel Telecommunications, and Indeed.com. I have done database administration for Oracle 8i and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
